Mushroom And Garlic Orzo with Ashley's Asparagus Tips Recipe

Serves: 4
Hearty Orzo and a creamy sauce highlighted with Asparagus.
Ingredients
- ½ pound Flour City Pasta Mushroom and Garlic Orzo, cooked al dente (4-6 min)
- 1 cup chopped asparagus tips
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup butter
- 4 TBS heavy cream
- 2 TBS Parsley flakes
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- ½ cup grated Parmesan
Instructions
- Bring several quarts of water to a boil. Add Orzo and cook al dente (about 4-6 minutes)
- While the pasta is cooking, add butter to a saucepan and place over medium heat
- Add garlic and asparagus tips.
- Saute several minutes.
- Just before garlic begins to change color, add cream and parsley.
- Cook approximately 5 minutes
- Add salt and pepper
- Serve over Orzo topped with parmesan cheese
